영국 웨일즈대학교 경영 MBA/경영정보 석사과정
1883년 10월 24일 왕실 칙령에 의해 '사우스웨일스·만머스셔유니버시티칼리지(University College of South Wales and Monmouthshire)'로 설립되었다. 설립 당시 생물학, 화학, 영어, 프랑스어를 비롯한 13개 학과에서 수업을 행하였다. 1893년 웨일스유니버시티칼리지, 노스웨일스유니버시티칼리지와 함께 연합대학교인 웨일스대학교 산하에 들어갔다. 현재 웨일스유니버시티칼리지는 애버리스트위스대학교, 스웨일스유니버시티칼리지는 뱅거대학교가 되었다. 1885년 여학생 입학을 허가하였고 1909년 주 대학 건축물을 세웠다. 1931년 설립 당시 학과였던 의학스쿨이 떨어져 나가서 웨일스대학교 의학대학(University of Wales College of Medicine)이 되었다.
1972년 카디프유니버시티칼리지(University College, Cardiff)로 이름이 바뀌었고,
1996년 웨일스대학교 카디프캠퍼스(University of Wales, Cardiff)가 되었으며 1997년 독립적 학위를 수여하기 시작하였고 1999년 웨일스대학교에 속한 상태에서 현재의 이름이 되었다. 2004년 웨일스의학유니버시티칼리지를 다시 합병하였고 웨일스대학교와 법적으로 완전히 분리되었다.
2010년 기준 건축학, 생물학, 경영학, 화학, 도시·지역계획, 컴퓨터과학, 치의학, 지구과학, 공학, 영어·통신·철학, 유럽학, 건강관리학, 역사·고고학, 저널리즘·미디어·문화학, 법학, 평생교육, 의학, 수학, 음악, 약학, 물리·천문학, 심리학, 종교학, 사회과학 등 29개 스쿨에서 학부·대학원과정을 제공한다.
캠퍼스는 웨일스의 중심지 카디프의 캐세이파크 지역에 자리 잡고 있으며 석조빌딩들과 공원, 가로수가 늘어선 거리로 둘러싸였다. 부설시설로는 14개 기숙사, 다목적스포츠홀, 축구장 등의 스포츠 시설, 뇌연구이미지센터, 신경과학센터 등 다양한 연구소가 있다. 졸업생 또는 교수로 노벨상을 수상한 대표적인 인물은 로버트 후버(1998, 화학), 마틴 에번스(2007, 의학)이고 요르단의 전 총리 파이잘 알-파예즈가 졸업했다.
